The tensions of creation are a constant battle. Whether it's the little tension to make a bowl of cereal in the morning or the high amount to execute an idea that has been tossed around for months, tension can be crippling to some, to others liberating.
Regardless, it takes practice to become better at anything, including overcoming this creative tension.
The best way to rid myself of this is to simply do. To send an email and get the ball rolling; make a phone call, to connect with others around me. To not give myself an out and practice pushing through the barrier consistently. To block off time in my day and work on progression without distraction.
The people who end up being involved are always collaborative and nothing but helpful. The outcome is always better than expected. It becomes a tangible result that I can continue and build from.
